“Faces to faces” highlights the feelings of isolation that can occur when anxious feelings arise, despite being surrounded by people. For this reason, the pictured figures are faceless, removing their essence of humanity. The magenta circle-headed figure is representative of feminine energy, while the square-headed figure is representative of masculine energy; by incorporating these elements, the artist was able to insert her journey in balancing her energies in pursuit of a fulfilling life. The train space is representative of the mind space which is utterly messy but still remains organized, encapsulating the whole experience and its overwhelmingness.
