“Flickted” is a critique on society and its use of technology (specifically social media). Social media has become almost, if not already, addictive “hooking” its users similarly to how people get addicted to drug usage. While everyone plays their own part by actively engaging in social media themselves, there are outside elements that seem to force the overconsumption of media. “Flickted” is also overall representative of unhealthy self inflicted coping mechanisms.
